I am woman...

I went outside at 6:30 am to shovel the 3 foot deep drift of ice that accumulated yesterday. I finished at 9 am. My muscles are trembling from the exertion. I feel like a hewoman or some thing when I look at what I accomplished. I even had to dig the garbage can out because it is a pickup day. I lost my mojo when it came time to shovel out a path to the mail box. Hopefully I will get it up to do that later today.

WOW - You are AMAZING!!! I just walked over the snow to my garbage can...and told Hubs that it was likely to STAY there till spring. :) I'm Truly impressed - wanna come do mine?? :)

Wow! I had about 3" of sleet at my house. You must be further upstate than me. This cold and wind is awful. Where's spring?

That drift makes me tired just to look at it. I was complaining at shoveling off three inches of light fluffy snow.

I was just wandering through the web and could not resist responding to your post...Iwould kill for winter weather, SC hasn't gotten any all year...it is only now cold enough to wear a jacket(not a coat, a jacket)...where I live...

Just thought I would share with you...

Oh, I TOTALLY get that hewoman feeling. Once last year I think I drove down to the bottom of my road (you remember that parking lot?) and the plows had plowed in the parking lot, there was a HUGE snow bank in the way. So I walked up to the top of the hill, got my shovel, and shoveled that huge bank out. It made me feel like women could conquer everything (but I'd be perfectly happy having someone else do it next time)!
